Kindness Matters Reflexology
I began my journey as a nurse with the main purpose of helping others heal and live a balanced, healthy and well deserved happy life. I strongly believe that kindness is greater than wisdom and the knowledge of that is the first step to wisdom.
I have raised my children with kindness and love and have encouraged them to follow their heart message and live a life of love and laughter and kindness - I believe they have taught me more than I taught them. I am blessed to have them in my life.
During my career as a health professional, I did my best to balance life, career, family and my passion for Reflexology. I am pleased to say that after over 30 years of working in the provincial health care field, I have reclaimed my passion with Reflexology that began with a basic course in foot reflexology in 1980. I used Reflexology while nursing to help relax my patients prior to surgery in Orthopedics, in Maternity labour and delivery, Oncology and in Geriatrics. Offering treatments in Reflexology has provided me with the peace of mind and heart that allows me to be the kind of person I am meant to be.
Over the past two decades, I have continued my reflexology and aromatherapy education with the Pacific Institute of Reflexology in Vancouver and the Advanced Reflexology Institute in Port Coquitlam, Academy of Ancient Reflexology, Academy of Universal Health and Healing in South Africa, HCP Reflexology Institute in Surrey, BC and most recently I have completed my Certified Reflexology Instructor training with Linda Barill in Victoria, BC., Reiki Attunement and Mastery with Gina Desjardins and Sound Healing with Dr. Samantha Jennings.
I have successfully completed the Holistic Level of Foot Reflexology, the Professional Advanced Reflexology of the Hand and Ear, Advanced Clinical Skills and the Advanced Vertical Reflex Therapy Technique, Chronic Foot Pain Management and Lymphatic Drainage with Aromatherapy, and continuing education with Dr. J. Manzanares Method of Reflexology, Pain Management for the cancer patient with Carol Samuel Reflexology and Metamorphosis with Cindy Silverlock.
My education continues every day as I learn more about the practice of Reflexology and the wonderful, kind people I am able to assist in my practice and in my volunteer services.
I am the Past President of the Reflexology Association of BC (RABC) and hold provincial registration as an Approved & Certified Reflexology Practitioner and hold national registration with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) as a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist and Instructor which allows me to provide therapeutic sessions and to teach the healing art of Reflexology across Canada using Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology. With my approved status, some insurance companies will cover my reflexology sessions, so you can check with your insurance provider and request a receipt for reflexology sessions.

will continue with select dates each year.
